Getting the Perfect Website

Why do you want a website?

Is it because everybody has one?

Or is it - excuse me for being blunt - an ego-trip?

Or (and this really is the only worthwhile reason to have a website) is it to get you more business?

*****

If you just want a website because everybody has one, and it's the thing to do, then really any website will do for you.

If you want a website as an ego-trip, then by all means get the fanciest, designer-iest, bells-and-whistles-iest website you can.

If you want a website to get you more business, then you need to follow the principles laid out in this website. (Or get me to do the website, and I'll follow the principles for you, without you even needing to know what they are - while you get on making money in your real business.)

Your website needs to sell.

Simple as that. It doesn't have to sell your product, necessarily. But it has to sell the next step in the sales process, whether that's the prospect phoning you, or signing up for your newsletter, or requesting further information.

Your website has to be a seamless part of your marketing strategy.

Honestly, you're wasting your time and money having a website that doesn't give the right message. Don't do it.

Talk to me about how I can help you with this.

You have several options here:

  1. Get somebody else to do your website and ask me to write the content for it.
  2. Get somebody else to do your website, and get me to critique it for its marketing quotient and to write the content for it.
  3. Get me to do the whole thing, which the easiest and most cost-effective option.  easier and cost-effective.

I offer simple and elegant websites which are marketing orientated.

If you need something more complex, e.g. for an estate agent, then I can sub-contract that for you, all the while making sure the marketing principles aren't compromised.

If you'd like to easily make your own websites, check out this information on how you can do that.

I use this process and even though I'm a totally non-techie person I made this website myself. I highly recomend it.
